The architectural design of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre implies a sense of healing, and suggests a connection with the region. Clear navigation, with an emphasis on integrating the region’s three dominant languages – English, French, and Oji-Cree (aboriginal) – was of paramount importance. Entro’s program included both exterior and interior identification.
Working with the Foundation, Entro created a donor recognition system that fits with the facility’s architecture. The system includes a principal donor wall in the main lobby, as well as specific recognition areas within the facility.
