We are pleased to announce that we have received three American Graphic Design Awards from Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) for Artscape Launchpad (Toronto), Riverside Church, and Roosevelt Island (New York).
Artscape Daniels Launchpad is the newest entity under the Artscape umbrella of organizations in Toronto. This not-for-profit centre provides resources, including tools, equipment, and space, for local creative entrepreneurs. We developed the brand identity and created environmental graphics, including a large vocabulary of pictograms, that extend the brand language throughout this breakthrough space.
Riverside Church is the tallest church in the United States, standing 20 storeys above upper Manhattan. Given its size and intricate medieval-inspired interior, Entro|CVEDesign was faced with the complex task of creating a wayfinding program that integrated the church’s new brand identity and colour scheme with its rich structure and powerful history. We merged past and present with elaborate, detailed back panels that honour the existing ironwork and stained glass.
Roosevelt Island is one of Manhattan’s best-kept secrets, a charming tourist destination where wayfinding is essential. Entro|CVEDesign created a comprehensive system of navigation that included map kiosks, directional finger signs, and an iconic red logo that welcomes visitors to the island. Using the signature red and Helvetica typeface of the Roosevelt Island Tramway, our aluminum signage blends seamlessly into the environment, resulting in a positive visitor experience.
