Distillery District Tower

Toronto, ON

Project

Entro is currently devising a signage and wayfinding strategy for a new project in the Distillery District. Led by developers Dream and Cityscape, and designed by SHoP Architects and Quadrangle, the large-scale project includes four new additions to the Distillery at the base of Trinity Street: a 49-storey tower; its podium; a 5-story “ribbon building” that runs almost the entire length of the southern border of the district; and “the kettle”, a building which serves as a transition between ribbon and tower, where the street curves. These buildings will include residential, commercial and retail space, along with rooftop gardens.
