Entro is currently working to adapt the existing City of Toronto Parks Signage Standards to the unique needs of the Port Lands, 100 acres of re-naturalized river floodplain and parks at the mouth of the Don River in Toronto.
Once one of the largest freshwater marshes on the Great Lakes, the Port Lands is now undergoing a multi-year flood protection and revitalization program set to create a healthy aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem within an urban context. New infrastructure and public open spaces will form a new community that is accessible, educational, and enjoyable to all.
Led by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates for Waterfront Toronto, the project is expected to be completed in 2024. To learn more about the Port Lands, click here or here.
