TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Toronto, Ontario

Project

A new terminal at Toronto International Pearson Airport required a comprehensive wayfinding program to move passengers efficiently through the space.

The form of the building inspired the signage, which was designed to be a highly integral element of the architecture. Entro conducted extensive studies, including testing with visually impaired users, to ensure the graphics would be clearly visible from further distances.

The signage provides maximum visibility across the terminal’s vast interior spaces. This program also introduced the new design direction for Pearson’s visual identity.
